Background of Green Day Concert

It has been 10 years since the last time Green Day performed in Singapore. Singapore will be the very first stop Green Day will perform among Asia and Europe after Hong Kong to begin their global stadium tour in 2021. Children below 6 years old are not allowed to enter and the standing tickets are only available for those above 12 years old.
In 2005, they toured for roughly 150 days in Japan, Australia, South America and the United Kingdom. They manage to attract a crowd of 130,000 people in just 2 days. It is amazing how a large number of fans are willing to travel to watch them.

‘Longview’, one of their big hits has been performed the most with a total of 925 times during their live performances. They have a total of 2482 concerts in total which includes both past and upcoming concerts. Their very first live performance was in California, on 17 October 1987. The most recent live performance in France, on 13 June 2020, was held together with Fall Out Boy and Weezer. They are currently touring across 23 countries and there will be 49 upcoming concerts. Their first upcoming concert as of now will be in the Philippines, on 13 March 2021.

The Hella Mega Tour 2021 will start off in Austria on 9 June 2021. Hella Mega Tour was supposed to start in 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was cancelled and rescheduled to 2021.
